The interior of the house was created as a result of a work with client of unique personality. When Mrs. Katarzyna asked me to design a house in the mountains, first thing that popped in my head was just another wooden log house. Fortunately, it turned out that I was wrong, and Mrs. Katarzyna’s dreams led us in completely different direction. The main inspiration for the design of this house was the work of the Catalan surrealist Salvador Dali. I consider it exceedingly developing, drawing inspirations from the works of the great. The interior was meant to be puzzling and attention-grabbing and I believe that we have managed to to achieve this.

The interior was meant to be puzzling and attention-grabbing and I believe that we have managed to to achieve this.
As usually, we invited to cooperation our favorite artists from Krakow: Joanna Szybist; Ars Vitrum workshop, Piotr Białasik and Jan Pęcek. The interior required a lot of effort from the team as we encountered many difficult challenges. We have spent many hours developing solutions that would satisfy us and our client.
Particular attention was required to make a glass wall in the bathroom with a blooming Almond blossom, inspired by Van Gogh’s work. Likewise, the kitchen was customized with some remarkable details, like fronts of the cabinets made from turquoise fusing glass.
Our greatest pride, and at the same time the biggest challenge, was the eaves from the burned black glass in the shape of a nose. It has made the kitchen absolutely unique. In one of the rooms on the wall, a map of space was painted by Piotr Białasik.
In addition, each piece of furniture was made individually, with special care what made all rooms – kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, extraordinary and one of a kind. An extremely important element was specially designed LED lighting, which extracted from the interior all its strengths and gave the opportunity to easily change the mood.
The entirety happens to be a surprising, unusual interior in which there is no place for blandness, mediocrity and boredom.
