private house II
After we had been commissioned the project of interiors in newly built private house, we received some design brief form our client concerning its character. As the building’s shape referred to the architecture of Polish manor houses, where our client spent her childhood, we were challenged to adjust our project to the present form. Our client’ s worship of antique furniture, especially French styled, made us stick to this aesthetics as a starting point.

Our job was to create comfortable, elegant and functional interior combined with historic character of the building. To achieve this, we have introduced some decorative elements such as ornate molding, as well as wooden paneling filled with silks or sophisticated wallpapers. Our concern was to create the interior spacious and full of light, what was possible to achieve because of enfilade room layout. Sliding doors with glazing between separate rooms enable to do any space modifications and adjust it to any needs. By that, the house is naturally divided to the private zone, which includes bedrooms with bathrooms and the official zone.
Dining room is joined with kitchen, creating harmonious common area. Moreover, in order to bring out every room’s uniqueness, we introduced a painted frieze with a floral motif in the dining room, and in the office, referring to the passion of our client, a frieze with a horse motif. The final complement to the atmosphere of the interior is a French herringbone parquet, used as a finishing floor in this part of the house.
Such a harmoniously designed house provides residents with both functional and aesthetic comfort.
